Parachute Home and Interior Define sign on to Design Center in South EndOctober 7, 2021
Two high-end end home brands have snapped up space in the Design Center in South End.
Parachute Home and Interior Define — both new to the Charlotte market — expect to open in early 2022. Both will front Camden Road.
"Parachute Home and Interior Define are a natural fit for Charlotte's most vibrant neighborhood,” says Lucy Butler with Thrift Commercial Real Estate Services. “The two premium interiors brands are excited to open their first North Carolina locations, calling the Design Center home and providing an elevated shopping experience in the heart of South End.”
She and Charles Thrift represented landlord Asana Partners in the lease transaction.
Parachute Home will occupy 3,940 square feet. The retailer will offer home essentials — "all things soft and wonderful,” according to the brand’s website. That list includes premium quality sheets, blankets and duvets, towels, decorative pillows, curtains and rugs. It also sells furniture such as mattresses and bed frames as well as baby items.
Interior Define, headquartered in Chicago, will have a 3,410-square-foot storefront. It delivers customizable furniture from sofas and sectionals to accent chairs. It has items to furnish and decorate living, dining and office spaces, with lighting, décor and rugs available.
It currently offers virtual design services in Charlotte.
With these deals, the Design Center’s retail space is 100% leased.
